Community Voices Concern Over Integration Choices
However, despite these advancements, not all members of the Shib Army are satisfied. A recent poll by CoinGate asked which blockchain should be integrated next for #crypto payments, with the options including Avalanche, Solana, Shibarium, and others.
The community expressed a strong preference for Shibarium, highlighting a desire for deeper integration that goes beyond token use to involve the ecosystem’s own layer-2 scalability solution. This sentiment was echoed by Mazrael, the “Shiba Eternity” game master, who pointedly asked in reply to the poll, “But not Shib’s home #Shibarium?”
This episode illustrates the community’s aspiration for a more substantial and long-term partnership with crypto businesses like CoinGate, suggesting that integrating Shibarium could have a holistic impact not only on Shiba Inu but also on other elements of its ecosystem like BONE.

BitPay, NOWPayments, and Shopping.io each began supporting the cryptocurrency, enabling its use in a wide range of activities, from global e-commerce to local donations.
