Shytoshi Kusama Unveils TREAT's First Use Case, Signaling Expansion of Shiba Inu Ecosystem

Shiba Inu’s visionary Shytoshi Kusama just dropped a bombshell: the TREAT token’s first real-world use case will be in a groundbreaking partnership focused on fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) and longevity research. This is a bold step toward redefining utility and marking a significant expansion of the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s real-world impact.

A Breakthrough Collaboration with Oogwai

Kusama revealed TREAT token use case in collaboration with Oogwai, a project focused on longevity research, which tapped Shiba Inu’s Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). The announcement, shared on X (formerly Twitter), highlighted a pivotal moment for the Shiba Inu ecosystem—expansion beyond its meme-coin origins into real-world applications driven by innovation and partnerships.

“Finally, a new use case for $TREAT. FHE LONGEVITY RESEARCH WITH $Ogai @ogaicoin. The ecosystem is just getting started!” Kusama posted a brief but significant statement that outlines the ambitious direction for TREAT, Shiba Inu’s upcoming utility token,” Kusama’s tweet read.

What is TREAT Token and Why Does It Matter?

The TREAT token, though not yet released, is positioned as a key utility asset in Shiba Inu’s growing Layer-2 network, Shibarium and the broader Shiba Inu ecosystem Designed to support rewards systems and DeFi integrations, TREAT will facilitate innovative partnerships and enhance user engagement across the ecosystem.

In this particular collaboration, TREAT plays a crucial role in Oogwai’s aim to secure efficient data processing powered by Fully Homomorphic Encryption.

Understanding Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)

FHE is a revolutionary form of encryption that allows computations to be performed on encrypted data without decrypting it. This ensures complete data privacy while enabling advanced research and analysis.

For projects like Oogwai, which focus on longevity research, FHE is a game-changing tool. By using encrypted data, researchers can securely analyze vast datasets without risking sensitive information—a critical requirement in scientific and medical research.

Oogwai’s Role in Longevity Research

Oogwai aims to drive innovations in longevity research by developing tools and methodologies that push the boundaries of science and technology. By partnering with the Shiba Inu ecosystem, Oogwai gains access to a decentralized, community-driven infrastructure that can accelerate its mission.

In response to Kusama’s announcement, Oogwai emphasized the experimental nature of this collaboration:

“This is going to be an innovative and bold social experiment. Training a longevity LLM harnessed by some of the world’s leading scientific research in the field, with a decentralized data architecture,” Oogwai said.

TREAT Token: Addressing Trust and Building Reputation

Last month, as anticipation built for the launch of the new TREAT token, Kusama, took to social media to highlight its unique role within the Shiba Inu ecosystem. Around the same time, a prominent crypto influencer was discussing the prevalence of “rug pull” scams.

Kusama took this moment to address these growing concerns, retweeting the influencer’s post and asserting that TREAT, along with Shiba Inu’s evolving ecosystem and its focus on “Karma and Reputation,” would effectively combat such fraudulent schemes on their platform.
