Crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, known as BitBoy, has reappeared after his absence, confirming he had exited a psychiatric facility and hinting at a detailed account of his experience soon.
On February 18, Armstrong posted a photo on X showing a black eye and explained that a psych ward had “locked him in” and that he was attacked in his sleep, accounting for the injury.
“Made it out early anyway. Some people break. Some don’t,” Armstrong wrote.
Early last week, The Shib Daily reported on Armstrong’s disappearance. The following day, the crypto influencer returned online, stating in a separate X post that he was no longer “missing.” However, his current whereabouts remain undisclosed and are expected to remain so for weeks.
Additionally, Armstrong’s partner, Cassandra Wolfe, who initially reported his disappearance, confirmed that he is receiving the help he needs and expressed her gratitude to the crypto community for their support.

Following his return, Armstrong resumed activity on his YouTube channel and X, providing updates on current topics within the cryptocurrency community.
Armstrong’s reemergence online elicited mixed responses, with some community members expressing criticism while others extended supportive well-wishes.
Bitboy Disappears Amid Mounting Legal and Professional Turmoil
In а series of posts and replies on X, Wolfe informed the crypto community that Armstrong had been missing for several hours, noting that those closest to him were deeply concerned for his well-being and urging anyone with relevant information to contact her.
Armstrong’s disappearance came amid escalating controversy, mounting legal challenges, and significant professional setbacks in recent months.

The crypto influencer’s challenges began in August 2023 when he was dismissed from his role at his company. A lawsuit was filed against Armstrong alleging extortion, theft, sexual harassment, and incidents of workplace violence.
TJ Shedd, Armstrong’s former business partner, filed a lawsuit alleging that Armstrong illegally funneled as much as $50,000 per month to Wolfe.
Following reports of his disappearance, Wolfe shared a petition calling for a criminal investigation into allegations of expulsion, theft, and extortion against HIT Network.
