While the crypto world races to the next viral trend, Shiba Inu’s visionary, Shytoshi Kusama, slows the pace, declaring that building revolutionary decentralized systems demands time and precision rather than hasty rollouts.
Building the Future of Shiba Inu
Speaking on his limited edition podcast, “Meme Mania and the 36 Chambers of Tech,” Kusama acknowledged that the full rollout of certain features took longer than initially anticipated. “I apologize that it took us as long as it did to finish everything, but really good tech takes time,” Kusama remarked.
This candid statement highlighted a philosophy that prioritizes thoroughness over speed. Kusama explained, with a commitment to transparency, that some components, like the metaverse and AI integrations, are still being developed. He explained that these were always planned as part of the network’s operating system.
Patience and Precision: Why Shiba Inu Takes Time
The Shiba Inu visionary also explained that the delays stemmed not from a lack of progress, but were a natural byproduct of constructing a complex system. He added, “We weren’t able to fully communicate this as we were building it,” comparing it to the approach of traditional tech companies, who often unveil completed products.
This was also to secure trade secrets, Kusama explained. Despite these delays, he expressed confidence stating, “We have now a system that brings anyone from Web 2 to Web 3,” underscoring his belief in the project’s design.

Shiba Inu 36 Chambers of Tech: A Modular Approach to Decentralization
Kusama stated, “a network state needs not just some sort of governance and identity, it also needs an operating system, so that everyone is aligned.” In the 8th episode of his podcast, Kusama described the unique modular design of the Shiba Inu network state, that has 36 parts, or “chambers.”
He discussed that this system, that is both decentralized and centralized, is designed to allow users to use different components. “You don’t have to utilize all 36 pieces,” Kusama stated. This is a foundational element, because these components, such as a “financial layer and identity layer,” would allow users to combine them to “a product or service that you are building, or a platform.” It was noted that often, “decentralized systems have no central structure” which is where they fail. Shiba Inu seeks to overcome this.
