Shytoshi Kusama Slams Crypto Chaos, Highlights Shiba Inu's Not-So-Secret Arsenal

Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous visionary of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, has voiced their concern using a shocking report of abuse on the Pump.fun platform to emphasize the need for the Shib Nation State–a bold framework they believe can reshape crypto ethics and build a secure, transparent Web3 future.

Responding to a tweet by X user @mezoteric detailing horrific acts committed for small amounts of cryptocurrency, including alleged child abuse, Kusama said, “I just want everyone to remember posts like this as we continue to unveil the Shib Network State and Operating System therein. They ask why Shib? Why a 100-page declaration of sovereignty and rules, Karma, Reputation, data protection, governance etc? AND THIS IS WHY.”

Mezoteric’s tweet described a disturbing scene of desperation on Pump.fun livestreams. He detailed, “The current state of live streaming on Pumpfun shows just how desperate people are for ANY money. People would degrade themselves, slaughter animals, or commit crimes to make 1-2k USD. I saw somebody abusing a 4-year-old child to rug for 4 solana.  It’s a true reflection on how pathetic some people are.”

This graphic account provided the context for Kusama’s remarks, highlighting the potential for exploitation in unregulated crypto spaces. Kusama’s statement directly linked the reported abuses on Pump.fun to the rationale behind Shiba Inu’s extensive governance framework, detailed in a 100-page whitepaper. The document outlines a system designed to foster a responsible and secure ecosystem through features such as reputation systems, data protection measures, and a robust governance structure.

In a subsequent post, Kusama further emphasized the point: “And for the record… I am glad that everyone can see the debauchery that ensues when there are no rules. We can build a better world, but we have to do it the right way.” This directly contrasted the apparent lawlessness on Pump.fun with Shiba Inu’s planned framework.

Many interpreted Kusama’s comments as a response to criticisms of the Shib Nation State’s “complex” governance model. While the scale of the whitepaper has drawn scrutiny, Kusama framed it as essential for preventing the kind of exploitation exposed by Mezoteric’s account.

The incident underlined a stark example of the risks associated with the “lack of self-governance and lack of a larger overall structure.” Kusama’s response positions Shiba Inu as a project actively working to mitigate such risks through proactive governance and ethical considerations, beyond simply preventing market manipulation.

The upcoming launch of the Shib Nation State and other Shiba Inu initiatives will be closely observed as a potential model for a more ethically-minded and properly regulated decentralized ecosystem.
