Donald Trump, the former U.S. President and current Republican presidential candidate, has announced the launch of his official Trump Coins.
In an announcement last Saturday, Trump introduced the product, stating, “We are introducing the launch of our Official Trump Coins! The ONLY OFFICIAL coin designed by me — and proudly minted here in the U.S.A.”
The Trump Coins are made of 99.9% fine silver and feature Trump’s face on one side, while the other side displays an engraving of the White House. The coins are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, signed by Trump himself, and come in a custom felt bag.
Trump referred to them as “beautiful limited edition” items, which commemorate “our movement for freedom and prosperity in America.” He also added “We put America first,” a phrase often used in his speeches.
Trump made it clear that these coins are exclusively available through his official website. He stressed, “I’ve seen a lot of coins out there using my very beautiful face… but they are not the official coin.” He urged supporters to follow the page and sign up to purchase the coins when they are released on September 25, 2024. Trump described the coins as “a true sign of American greatness” and noted that they represent his “fight for freedom.”

The coins are being sold for $100 each and are meant as collectibles rather than legal tender. The website selling the coins specifies that they are designed to be kept as mementos, and there is no option for returns once purchased.
This latest product follows Trump’s previous merchandise offerings. Last week, Donald Trump launched his crypto venture, World Liberty Financial, to promote stablecoins and decentralized finance. The platform will offer borrowing, lending, and investment services and introduce the WLFI token. Despite excitement around the project, security concerns arose after hacking incidents involving Trump family members’ social media accounts.

As with previous launches, Trump’s new product is expected to appeal to his base of supporters. The coins, marketed as commemorative items, reflect his message of patriotism and American values.
