Tangem, a leading provider of secure cryptocurrency hardware wallets, has expanded its community outreach efforts by launching a dedicated Japanese-language Telegram channel.
The strategic move aims to foster better communication with the growing Japanese-speaking audience, providing timely updates, educational content, and a platform to engage directly with the Tangem team.
“We launched a Japanese Telegram channel to engage with our Japanese users in their native language directly, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed about our updates and activities. This move is part of our broader mission to stimulate mass crypto adoption, offering user-friendly and easy-to-use products, and communication in our users’ mother tongue,” Daria Bystrova, Marketing Project Manager at Tangem told The Shib Daily.
The launch of this channel coincides with Tangem’s recent announcement of adding Shiba Inu (SHIB) to its list of accepted payment methods. Now, Japanese-speaking SHIB holders who use Tangem wallets can receive news and updates in their native language, enhancing their user experience and engagement with the platform. Community members can ask questions, seek assistance, and share feedback in their native language.
Tangem’s innovative hardware wallets are designed to combine the convenience of a credit card with the robust security of a bank vault. These slim, tamper-evident cards allow users to store and manage their digital assets offline, significantly reducing the risk of hacking and unauthorized access.
When The Shib Daily quizzed Daria on how the move would impact the accessibility and inclusivity of the platform, she asserted, “We believe it will enhance our consumer-centric communication with the community, providing our users more transparency, simplicity, and comfort. Additionally, we plan to translate our application into Japanese soon to improve user experience further. We chose Telegram for its user-friendly interface but are open to expanding to other popular platforms like Line and Twitter based on user demand.”
Japan has a long history of embracing cryptocurrencies, boasting a large community of enthusiasts and a thriving blockchain ecosystem. Japenese-speaking individuals interested in crypto security can visit the Tangem Japanese Telegram channel.
