Recently, the exchange unveiled a groundbreaking recognition for Shib Army through X (formerly known as Twitter).
This accolade stems from a poll orchestrated by WazirX on the influential social media platform, aiming to identify the most resilient community amid the heightened optimism in the cryptocurrency market.
Starting last Wednesday, WazirX launched an interesting poll on X (formerly Twitter), posing the question: “Among these memecoin projects, which community stands out as the strongest on X?” The exchange curated a compelling selection of eight leading crypto assets for participants to choose from, including $BOB, $SHIB, $FLOKI, $LOVELY, $BOME, $PEPE, $DOGE, and $BONK, sparking lively discussions and inviting the crypto community to voice their opinions and champion their favorites.
The poll garnered an impressive 5,264 votes, with Shiba Inu emerging as the clear frontrunner, capturing 48.3% of the total votes. Dogecoin secured the second position with a strong showing at 39.7%, while Floki and Pepe closely trailed behind at 32.7%. BOME claimed 15.9% of the votes, followed by BOB with 13.6%, BONK at 11.6%, and LOVELY rounding out the list with 5.4%.
The Shib Army, renowned for its unwavering loyalty and tenacity within the Shiba ecosystem, has consistently demonstrated its strength and influence over the years. This formidable community’s no-holds barred support led to a temporary halt of Shibarium, SHIB’s layer-2 scalability solution, shortly after its launch last August.
