Shiba Inu-Themed Restaurant Welly Partners with Edge Of Company

March 23, 2024

Edge of Company has announced its partnership with projects and companies pioneering Web3, decentralized AI, and entertainment, among others. One of these partners is Welly, a Shiba Inu-themed fast-food restaurant based in Naples, Italy.

In a recent tweet, Welly team member @coccoverse shared the announcement on X.

Edge of Co. is a provider of tech, media, events, and advisory services to up-and-coming Web3, AI, and culture-focused businesses.

The Daily Shib spoke to Cocco about this recent development. “In early March, part of our team flew to Denver for networking opportunities. During meetings, they connected with Richard Carthon and Josh Kriger, founders of Edge of Co./Edge of NFT, who showed interest in supporting our upcoming character refresh,” he told us.

When asked about what the team is looking forward to in this new partnership, he said, “We’re excited about partnering with Edge of NFT, who’s doing incredible work and providing us with the opportunity to shine in Los Angeles. After getting a taste of Welly, Los Angeles will be drooling and dying for a bite of our burgers. Wen Welly in LA?”

Edge of NFT and Edge of AI, which are owned by Edge of Co., are dedicated to empowering and supporting NFT and AI projects and communities through podcasts and in-person events, with the overarching goal of exploring the future of Web3 and automation. It is also the producer of Outer Edge LA, Outer Edge Hackathon, Outer Edge Riyadh, and other tech initiatives within its transmedia ecosystem.

Welly is an official brick-and-mortar partner of SHIB. It has successfully rebranded and reopened late last year, making the Shiba Inu its mascot and adapting its menu and marketing strategy to the partnership.

The fast-food chain is innovating new technology that uses blockchain to record its product supply chain. They shared in January that they have created a bot on Shibarium to track orders and daily sales.
