The decentralized finance (DeFi) partner of Shiba Inu, K9 Finance is set for important announcements at the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference 2024. K9 is a Gold Sponsor for the event scheduled for August 13-14.
Shiba Inu is also a title sponsor of the conference.
The exact details of K9 Finance’s announcements at the conference remain undisclosed. However the team has mentioned in one of their roundtables that Shiba Inu will be a major focus. This is in line with their recent social media activities, which have been building anticipation ahead of the conference.
Buzz, the pseudonymous founder and developer of K9 Finance, said it is important for KNINE to be integrated into all products and APIs for maximum visibility and usability around the Web3 ecosystem. “We’ve prioritized significant legwork in ensuring that our logo is integrated with all open-source repositories,” Buzz told The Shib Daily. “This will become even more evident when our product launches since there are many applications to integrate a Real Yield Product into. This gives more exposure to K9 DAO, but also Shibarium.”
Besides their plans for the conference, the K9 team has been making waves in the DeFi space. One of their latest is K9 Finance being listed on Coinbrain, a popular analytics platform for crypto traders. Coinbrain recently said that crypto could play a pivotal role in the upcoming U.S. presidential elections, reflecting the growing influence of digital assets.

K9 Finance recently announced its gold sponsorship for the ETH Toronto event. The K9 team is offering a $10,000 bounty prize pool in KNINE tokens as bounty rewards for the ETH Toronto Hackathon. The team told The Shib Daily previously that this hackathon aims to encourage the development of projects, which will bring about an increase in DeFi activities.
K9 believes this will help develop a more robust ecosystem and generate more activity on-chain from existing users. Besides this, it will also help attract new users to Shibarium by offering equal or better DeFi opportunities than competing chains.
